Get Ready for the LPGA Golf Event in Pattaya

Do you have dreams of spending a golf holiday in Pattaya watching seventy of the best players in the world compete against each other? If so, you’re in for a treat in February. Make a two-weekend holiday trip to Pattaya to witness both the best of the world’s professional women golfers and the most talented amateur women golfers in Asia at Siam Country Club’s Old Course.
February 12th to the 15th and 20th to the 23rd are the dates for not one, but two exciting golf championship tournaments that will be held in the same location. Where the course of Siam Country Club, the best golf course in Thailand will be sunny and breezy.
This is the 13th year that Siam Country Club will be hosting the most prestigious golf tournament in Asia. And as the previous years have proven, the level of talent, skill, and professionalism on display will be nothing short of breath-taking.

Two weeks of Fun in the Sun

Warm up your engine with the Women’s Amateur Asia Pacific (WAAP) where our Thai sensation golfer Atthaya Thitikul, a 16-year-old, won the championship in the inaugural WAAP tournament that was held in Singapore in 2018. Also, the champion of this year will be invited to play among the world’s best golfers at The Honda LPGA Thailand.

For spectators, the Honda LPGA Thailand 2020 Golf Tournament promises four days of fun in the sun. Besides the excitement of watching the world’s best players compete, there will be a Festival Village offering all kinds of food, games, entertainment, and activities that will keep even the youngest members of the family happy and engaged.
This is a golf event in Pattaya that shouldn’t be missed by younger golfers. On the 17th of February, Siam Country Club will also host the Dream Big! @Junior Golf Clinic. This is a youth golf clinic that will help hone young players into future masters of the world’s fairways.

Young people also have the opportunity to further immerse themselves in the world of professional golf by becoming a Young Ambassador at the Honda LPGA Thailand 2020 Golf Tournament.
The first 100 applicants to the Young Ambassador programme will be admitted to a seminar that will tell them about all the opportunities available within the golf industry. Out of these 100 applicants, a lucky 30 will be selected as volunteers at the Honda LPGA Thailand 2020 tournament. And 6 of these winners will go on to be offered an internship in 2021 to work on regional tournaments.

Elite Golfers of the World Tee-off

Starting from the 20th of February, all eyes will turn to the Old Course and the Pattaya golf event of the year. The best women golfers in the world, led by past Honda LPGA Thailand champions Amy Yang and Jessica Korda, will tee off.
This year promises intense competition against the luminaries of the golf world such as Brooke Henderson, Sung Hyun Park and the Thai sister team of Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn. The two premier Thai golfing sisters will be seeking to leave the Champion’s Trophy right at home here in Thailand.

Tickets are Still Available

Tickets are still available for all days of the tournament. You’ll have your choice of a one-day pass for either of the days of the tournament, a two-day pass, or the Tournament Season pass. Of course, we recommend the Tournament Season pass that will allow you to watch all the excitement of the entire tournament, including the final day when the competition among the professionals on the leaderboard will be fierce.
